Our story began with Ashut Engineers Limited, which commenced operations in 1980. Starting modestly with an office and a small workshop on Kirinyaga Road in Nairobi, the company quickly laid the foundation for future growth.
Demonstrating foresight and ambition, Ashut Engineers Limited later acquired significantland in the Industrial Area along Lokitaung Road in 1995.This strategic move led to the development of our current impressive facility, which now boasts a total of 300,000 square feet of factory floor
Over the years, Ashut has experienced remarkable expansion, not only in size and capacity but also in the diversity of products manufactured. This growth has been consistently paralleled by significant technological developments that have kept us at the forefront of the industry.
A pivotal moment occurred in March 2021, when the Board of Directors made a strategic decision to separate the Plastics Division from the Furniture and Steel Fabrication Division (which had operated as Ashut Engineers Limited since 1980). This led to the incorporation of Ashut Plastics Limited, signaling a dedicated focus on plastic packaging innovation.
